Faith gave me perspective when I had no results to point to. It kept my ambition from turning into desperation, and it kept my wins from turning into ego.
There's a version of ambition that eats people alive — the version where your worth is tied to this quarter's number. Faith broke that for me. It let me work hard without being owned by the outcome.
Faith, work ethic, and ambition can coexist. In my life, they've depended on each other.
