I didn't start with money, a network, or a financial education. I started with two people who gave me something harder to measure: my mother taught me confidence and self-belief, and my father taught me work ethic, responsibility, and discipline.
That combination turned out to be worth more than a head start. Confidence without work ethic is noise. Work ethic without belief burns out. Together, they give you a place to build from.
The lesson I keep coming back to is simple: your starting point does not determine your destination. What determines it is what you're willing to learn, and how consistently you're willing to do the work once you've learned it.
