If I told you this was a straight line — dream, work hard, succeed — I'd be lying and you'd learn nothing.
There were businesses that didn't work. Decisions I'd take back. Things I misunderstood about markets, about people, about myself. Periods of real financial pressure and real doubt.
Each one taught me something specific, and most of those lessons were about judgment rather than effort. Effort I already had. Judgment had to be paid for.
The point isn't that you never fail. It's that you don't let failure become your identity. You take the lesson and you keep building.
